Each amp comes equipped with Accutronics reverb for modern or vintage tones, plus an overdrive channel with distortion. The amp head features 50 watts RMS, with 4 x 12AX7 tubes in the preamp and 2 x 6L6GC tubes in the power amp. All tubes on the Akita Series are pre tested premium tubes. I owned one of these and the tone was great. Thick chunky to smooth and Bluesy.
The problem with the heads are they are cheaply made with cheap Chinese components and they are not made to last.
I sent mine back and the next one new in the box last under 5 minutes and it did the same high pitch fizz as it faded out.
DEAD... I don't have 50 buck to return it for 5 minutes and a month down time.
If the components were better and the QA this head would really rock..
I have to say the dealer that dealt with the company found they didn't really care to get a fast turn around on it.
